“until the mountain is covered by the snow”
“until the mountain is covered by the snow”(working title) is a genre-bending documentary exploring home, land, identity, and creative autonomy. Filmmaker Ying Wang collaborates with artist Lam Tung Pang and writer-producer Yun-Jou Chang to create a multilayered narrative that blends documentary, painting, performance, and world-building dramatization. Through this cinematic experiment, the project asks: can creative autonomy endure political rupture, state suppression, technological encroachment, and the drift of life across distant geographies?
